Want to sell local SEO services to business owners?

This has been one of my favorite ways to earn an income online. Today I talk about a bit of my process for approaching this, why it’s beneficial for business owners and how you can take advantage of it.

I’ve been selling local SEO services now, and offering Google My Business optimization for over 5 years.

The key skill that I’ve learned over the years is that learning to sell my services has by far been the most important skill to have when it comes to digital marketing.

I simply build relationships with the right partners and vendors, people I can trust to get the job done and get it done right.

Many people in this space fall into one of 2 categories I’ve found.
Either they are very technical in terms of wanting to do a lot of the actual work, diving into all of the tech stuff like building backlinks, updating page content, and all of the requirements to really “rank” a business on page 1.

Or in many cases you will have people that are great at relationships, they can sell services and have lots of confidence when it comes to selling digital marketing.

When I first started I spent a good amount of time on the technical stuff and once I felt comfortable understanding SEO at even a basic level I went out and started selling it to businesses.

I’ve found if you can simply learn to build key relationships both with local business owners and with vendors you will not only have the ability to sell, but also to be able to get your clients amazing results on top of that.
